Clarke Fairbrother, President and Principal of Newport Pacific Capital, has an impressive background in strategic financial planning and analysis, long term financial planning, tax planning, and subdivision development.  He worked as a Certified Public Accountant with Arthur Young & Company and Hurdman & Cranston. He is a licensed California real estate broker. Clarke served four years as president of the Orange County and Inland Empire Manufactured Housing Educational Trust (MHET) and is on the advisory board of The California Mobilehome Park Alliance.

Clarke is a pilot and a farmer. For recreation, Clarke plays and teaches bridge, and enjoys racquetball. He has also published a book on bridge bidding systems.

Mike Sullivan, Principal and CEO of Newport Pacific Capital and President of Cirus Development, is a Certified Property Manager, a California General Contractor and a Manufactured Home dealer.  Having served as President of the Board of Directors of the Western Mobilehome Park Owners Association (WMA), and as President of the Santa Clara County Manufactured Housing Education Trust (MHET), Mike remains very active in industry organizations.  He currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors of the WMA, is Chairman of the WMA Bylaws Committee, and serves on the WMA Executive and Finance Committees.

Mike was a Captain in the U.S. Army and is a pilot. For recreation, he enjoys boating, scuba diving and golf. 

Paul Prentice has been with Newport Pacific since 1986, and is Vice President of Operations.  Paul oversees all aspects of the property management division, and all 10 Regional Managers. He conducts seminars on resident relations, customer service and dispute resolution for several industry associations, including the Western Mobilehome Parkowners Association (WMA), Manufactured Housing Educational Trust (MHET) and the Nevada Mobile Home Park Owners Association. 

Mr. Prentice holds a California Teaching Credential. He was on the evening college faculty of Orange Coast College for eleven years and on the UCLA extension faculty for five years.  

Candace Holcombe is the Vice President of Operations for Modular Lifestyles, Inc., and joined Newport Pacific in 1987.  She has extensive experience in management, home sales, marketing, and community development for multiple real estate assets owned by individual, family partnerships, trusts, nonprofit organizations and municipalities.

Candy is a frequent industry speaker and instructor throughout California. She contributes articles for industry magazines, and currently serves on the Education and Planning Committees for the Western Manufactured Housing Communities Association (WMA) and the PAC Committee for California Manufactured Housing Institute (CMHI).

All of our Regional Managers are CCRMs and CAM certified, with an average of 10+ years of property management experience. Our team is responsible for establishing and maintaining the greatest possible cash flow from each property.   They meet this responsibility by keeping the properties filled and in good condition. They also recommend and carry out improvements on properties that could lead to higher rents and a more rapid appreciation.
